So, are Machete and Vasco both from Naples? As Italian, I can now imagine them talking with some kind of accent :)

Machete is originally from Sicily! But he hasn't been there since he was little. Vasco's family is from Florence.

Vasco's Tuscan accent is deeply rooted and clearly noticeable, but Machete is a lot harder to pin down. He strives to sound as impersonal and formal as possible, which renders his form of speech kind of stiff and flavorless. He's always been reasonably good at absorbing languages though, so I'd like to say that he can communicate in several of the major Italian dialects/languages if necessary. In work matters he readily switches to ecclesiastical Latin.

Maybe his southern origins show up more clearly whenever he's off-duty and his mask of soulless professionalism is a little looser or something.

can patchwork talk normally or do they talk via speech bubbles pictures?

well aside from the speech bubbles, patches can make video game like noises, like beeps and chirps, but it is more efficient to use emojis and pictures!

soo theoretically they could learn to speak- since human speech is basically just noises they could probably figure out how to replicate speech..similar to how some birds can mimic humans!!

for now he talks exclusively with his speech bubbles and expressive symbols. which btw is directly taken from the way jax can use cartoony symbols!

I get it, and I'm gonna say the same thing to you that I tell myself a lot.

Loving the villains doesn't make you a bad person.

Personally, I've found a lot of the time the villains have so much more depth to them and are far more entertaining to follow. The whole "wanting to be the One Exception" bit aside, loving characters like Mahito is so beautiful because there is so much to be explored there.

I also understand the fear of wanting to write for him but not wanting backlash. The thing is those people aren't your target audience anyways so ???? fuck it. You don't want those people on your blog anyways. Let people write what they want, it isn't a crime.

Serious talk aside, Mahito is just fucking gorgeous, I mean come on. I want to put him in a jar and shake him.

🔧 — Trying different chemicals to power motors isn't something Isaac has done a lot before and he's still not confident about it if he were to be honest. General chemistry was never his strongest suit, he's more the metal worker.

But, he has learned a few things from Doc in the meantime and he's since playing around more with things that are out of his field of expertise. Maybe Doc should have warned him that the colorful and sparkly chemicals could invite a certain someone to take a sip if he'd store them in the fridge, despite all the warning labels on the beaker.

But rather than being upset, Isaac is getting worried about her confession. "You did what? The chemical should be ecologically sound, but it was supposed to fuel the improved motor for the lawnmower— are you alright? Should I get Doc to check on you?"
